The Lost Tomb – Extremescape

As soon as I received the email about the Lost Tomb opening I immediately rallied my troops to book! Adam and Steff hadn’t done the Pirate Ship and we had been raving about it for ages so I was really excited to share this experience with them.

Yet again the owners Graham and Jess were more than welcoming and it was great to have a good chat beforehand. We entered a mini introduction room which was really well themed and just brilliant to keep us engaged. There was some clever tech which led us into the room, and again we were all amazed with the theming. As Extremescape is located on a farm, the original features of the room were used to great effect and gave it real authenticity. We worked well together and enjoyed the different elements to this game. The puzzles were mostly linear but on reflection there were probably a few different starting points depending on what drew your attention first.

Jess and Graham know how to interact with players effectively and really entertained us throughout! Each part to the game was well suited to the theme and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Highlight of the game – the means of entering each room were unique and cleverly put together.

Overall Opinion – Extremescape delivered again – we want more!!

Any drawbacks? – There was only one puzzle that we just couldn’t do – maths is definitely not my forte, especially under pressure! We did have to be given the answer in the end. Haha.
